1. General Terms
1.1 In these terms, "we," "us," or "our" refer to Clean Air Carbon Care. Clean Air Carbon Care operates under Clean Air Carbon Care Limited. The term "they," "them," or "their" refers to the Independent Agent Technician of Clean Air Carbon Care, whose details are provided overleaf.
1.2 Your contract is established with the Independent Agent Technician when you schedule an appointment. There is no direct contract between you and us.
1.3 Our Independent Agent Technician will perform the service to the best of their abilities at an agreed time and location. They reserve the right to change the appointment time with reasonable notice.
1.4 Visible vehicle damage will be documented by the Independent Agent Technician before commencing work. We and they are not liable for existing damage, visible or not, before the service.
1.5 A well-maintained vehicle is essential for our service. Honest responses to the Independent Agent Technician's questions about your vehicle's maintenance history are important. Misleading answers might exempt them from liability for engine damage during the service.
1.6 Our Independent Agent Technician will perform a vehicle health check and record their findings. Any recommended engine repairs will be advised. It is your responsibility to address these repairs promptly; failure to do so may void warranties.
1.7 Our Independent Agent Technician may refuse service if the vehicle's engine is unsuitable. In such cases, a call-out and diagnostics fee will apply.
1.8 Basic engine repair work may be offered by our Independent Agent Technician. Accepted repairs come with a 3-month warranty on parts and workmanship.
1.9 Our Independent Agent Technician carries public liability insurance. They will repair any vehicle damage caused by them. Unauthorized repairs organized by you are not their responsibility.
1.10 Payment is due upon completion of the job. Debit card, credit card (excluding business credit cards), bank transfer, or cash are accepted. Commencement of service implies agreement to pay in full. VAT may apply.
1.11 Data Protection: Refer to the data management option you choose. Your data will be handled by us, and marketing communication will relate to relevant vehicle services. Data will not be sold to third parties.
1.12 Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Late cancellations within 24 hours of booking may incur fees based on the service cost.
1.13 Our terms and disputes are governed by English law, with exclusive jurisdiction in English courts.
2. Engine Carbon Cleaning Services
2.1 Hydrogen is introduced during the cleaning process. Engine faults might occur; you acknowledge this risk.
2.2 The service is preventative, not curative. Cleaning for component faults is at your risk.
2.3 Improvements depend on the engine; no guarantees for emissions, fuel consumption, or performance are made.
2.4 Carbon cleaning might affect manufacturer warranties. Contact your manufacturer for warranty details.
3. DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Cleaning Services
3.1 DPF cleaning is guaranteed, with pre- and post-clean data provided.
3.2 Repairs advised post-service are essential to maintain DPF functionality.
3.3 A driven test may be needed post-service; an insured driver must be available.
3.4 Follow maintenance advice post-service to avoid DPF issues and maintain warranties.
